The San Juan County Council will discuss the Planning Commission's recommended amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Vision on June 11, 2018.
The County Council and Planning Commission held a joint public hearing regarding the proposed amendments on May 18, 2018. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission considered public comments and arrived at a recommendation to the County Council. The Planning Commission began working on amendments to the Vision at their meeting on January 19, 2018. Amendments were discussed and public comments were considered on February 16, March 16, April 20, and May 18, 2018 Planning Commission meetings. Oral comments were received during each of these meetings and one hundred twenty written public comments were considered by the Planning Commission in the process of composing these amendments.
