About the Planning Commission

Positions #4 and #5 on the Planning Commission are both vacant and open to San Juan Island residents. The Commission is a group of citizen advisors who are an essential part of the public process and community planning for local land use. Meetings are held on the third Friday of the month, starting at 8:30 am. Find links to past and future meetings HERE.

About the Parks & Recreation Commission

Position #1 on the Parks & Rec Commission is vacant and open to a San Juan Island resident. The Commission advises on activities and projects in County parks. Meetings occur every three months on the third Thursday at 4 pm.  Find links to past and future meetings HERE.
